Great service! Love being able to customize meals and everything is very tasty. If I need a delivery change due to an unexpected trip, they always oblige. Delivery is great and food always shows up safely.

I love LoCal Foodz because they really are local. Fresh food prepared in the Bay Area and delivered fresh, unlike all those other meal delivery companies. I always get the Signature Entrees or salads and I order a full menu every week - enough to eat every lunch and dinner for a week. Every meal is fresh, flavorful and delicious. If I've ever had a problem - a missing topping or sauce, nothing major - or an idea, an email gets a quick response from the owner. Problems are fixed and ideas are welcomed. I love this food and I'll never go back to frozen, or those plastic-sealed, courier-shipped companies. Fresh and local is better.

I have always been against meal prep, because I always felt that I could cook the food myself. However, when I started getting more busier and older, I decided to try Local Foodz because of a close friend. The first time I try, their food was actually my friends meal prep meal and I was so shocked that it was healthy, but tasted extremely delicious. It's been over a year now that I have been with Local Foodz and I plan on having them as my meal prep company for life. I love how you can customize your meals to your own liking and lifestyle. If you're on a clean bulk, on a cut or calorie deficit, or if you just want healthy meals readily available in your fridge. My personal favorite dishes are their: - Beef Bulgoi with 2 Veggie Fritters with their ginger sauce - Ground Beef with Cauliflower Grits and spinach with their cheese or cream of mushroom sauce - Hainan Chicken Thighs - Mongolian Beef - Shrimp & Gritz - Salmon with Spinch and cream of mushroom and rice The lists goes on and on I also really love how they have the nutritional facts on the meal prep box and you can see exactly what is in your food from protein, carbohydrates and fat to all the ingredients and nutritional information. There is a reason why this company has been around for over 10 years now. The food is delicious and it's also very delicious.

The true test of a company, business or service is when a mistake is made. These mistakes can be the greatest opportunities to create a customer for life. I have allergies, and they suck! No onions, No garlic, and No gluten. Yes I know...it's not fun, but I have to manage. I reached out to LoCal Foodz Cali to chat with Sunny when I was first researching different meal prep services. We had a great call and talk on the phone and you could tell he really cared on the phone call. I decided to order my first order with them and placed my allergy specifications at the bottom Delivery note as there wasn't another area to insert a custom note and the allergy button did not have Garlic & Onion as a choice (who would wish such an allergy on someone?!). I received my first delivery, and wow did it smell good!! But that was the issue, if it smells good, in my experience, it probably has onions or garlic haha. So I reached out and left Sunny a voicemail, and of course I was upset & frustrated. The promise he made on the first call that they could handle this type of request and I thought I had followed the instructions properly. I left that voicemail & sent him off an email right after smelling the garlic and onions around 9 pm...he called me immediately 15 minutes later. He was greatly apologetic and told me he would make it right first thing in the morning. They owned up to the mistake, let me keep the food, which I gave to my gf, and brought my new food the next day at no cost. Since then I have made a few orders and each one has been perfect! The measurement aspect is also amazing as I can only eat smaller portions of food per meal which is another story for another time. Sunny is extremely nice and the food is perfect. I've been hesitant on ordering from a meal prep service for a long time and glad I finally did it for the New Year! I used to cook meal prep on my own, but purchasing from local foodz saves me so much time and energy. It's convenient and easy to order and schedule your meals. The cost is great too! They deliver the food right to your doorstep and they update you through notifications. The food tastes amazing. These meal preps make it easy to stay on track with my health and fitness. I like to order in bulk which makes it easier to portion out my meals and if I want to share within my household. I am now a regular customer and will continue to order!

LoCal Foodz Cali is your secret weapon to maintaining a healthy balanced diet without the stress. The food is fresh, delicious, and full of variety. My favorites so far are the teriyaki chicken and shrimp lettuce cups dishes. So good! I'm currently following a keto diet and they offer plenty of options for me without having me to overdose on meat and cheese. I saw on their app that they offer options for plant-based and low carb diets as well. There is something for everyone. With these pre-made meal deliveries, you know you are paying a premium for convenience so do not complain about food you can "make at home". Make it yourself if that is the issue. This is for people who want tasty, healthy food that is already cooked and ready at their door. With that being said, their prices are not bad in comparison to other meal delivery services. They also can deliver 2x a week so you can guarantee your food staying fresh. I also like their options a lot better. One of my favorite pros is that they also do not have a ton of annoying and wasteful packaging! I've tried out another meal delivery service and why do I have to fight a cardboard box, 3 bags of dry ice, and worry about recycling it all just to eat 5 meals a week?! LoCal Foodz puts your food in a safe reusable (that you can return!) insulated bag and throws a ice pouch on top! Thank god! That's really all you need. Don't know why I waited so long to order from LoCal Foodz! Try it out!

Starting ordering from Local Foodz a few months ago and I am delighted to have finally found what I've needed for so long: a healthy, convenient, no-cook meal delivery service that doesn't rely on frozen foods with long-distance shipping and a ton of non-recyclable packaging! I started out using just the Simple Start plan but recently have been customizing more and more. It's a good website and I've had no problems getting what I ordered on time and fresh. I really like I can order once a week, but get deliveries twice a week so that the food is fresh! I also love that I can order meals customized to the calories and macros I need. As a smaller woman, for me, many of the meal kits and delivery services are just way too high calorie, and the ones that are low calorie tend to be disgusting. Local Foodz is actually pretty tasty AND low cal! If I had one request it would be that the standard non customized meals had more vegetables. It's a nice way to get more food without adding tons of calories and fat.

From the first time I ordered from LoCal Foodz two years ago, I have always been beyond thrilled with the service and quality of meals I have received. The meals are always fresh and flavorful. And I love that they are always adding new options to the menu. I love that every meal's nutritional information is readily available. For someone who keeps track of their daily macros, this is invaluable and sooooo convenient. Quick delivery means that I save time going to the grocery store. And obviously the fact that I don't have to do the cooking myself is a game changer. And the customer service is excellent.
